Sheet Pan BBQ Chicken Nachos
These BBQ chicken nachos deliver a combination of smoky barbecue goodness, crunchy chips, melty cheese and convenience perfect for game days, parties or taking it easy with your family.

Barbecue chicken nachos are basically a fusion of Southern and Tex-Mex cuisines, and I canโt imagine anyone not loving that. Barbecue and nachos are iconic dishes from each style of cooking for good reason. This recipe combines the richness of smoked meat with bold, zesty flavors.
In addition to its unique flavor profile, barbecue chicken nachos are for sharing. Not only are the flavors comforting, but so too is the act of gathering around a plate of nachos with family and friends.
Last, I love making nachos of all types because there is so much you can do with them. Of course, I prefer the ingredients I suggest in my recipe, but you are encouraged to try different twists and adjustments to put your stamp on it.
What to serve with this chicken nacho recipe
If these sheet pan nachos are going to be your main entrรฉe, pair them with refreshing sides like a crisp salad, coleslaw or fresh fruit to balance out the richness with bright flavors. You can always treat them as an appetizer before (or alongside) your favorite grilled meats.
Regardless, be sure to offer a variety of topping options, like diced tomatoes, jalapeรฑos and avocado, to let everyone customize their plate. You might also consider offering sides of salsa, guacamole and pico de gallo.
With rich dishes full of bold flavors like these chicken nachos, I recommend iced tea or lemonade as a cool, refreshing contrast. Similar alcoholic options include a crisp, light beer or margaritas.
Stay in that same lane with dessert, serving lighter, fruity flavors like my fresh strawberry pie, no-bake frozen lemonade pie or even my easy coconut cake recipe.
