- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon dried mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 crusty white baguette
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook the sausage.
- Beat the eggs in a small bowl.
- Add the milk, dried mustard and salt to the egg mixture. Whisk until well combined.
- Slice the bread into 1-2 inch slices.
- Cover the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with the bread.
- Sprinkle the cheese and sausage on top of the bread.
- Pour the egg and milk mixture over the bread.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, remove the cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
