  • 9 x 13 Baking Dish
  • Large bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. frozen hashbrowns, defrosted slightly
  • 10.5 oz. can of cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • ½ cup yellow onion or green onions, chopped
  • 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • bacon pieces, optional
  • cornflakes, optional
  • 1 jalapeño, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350º
  • Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and stir to combine.
  • Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Optional: add crushed corn flakes to the top for an added crunch.
  • Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
