Gooey cheese and potatoes are the perfect comfort food! Great for holiday dinners and taking food to those who are grieving. Adding bacon, green onions or cornflakes take this to the next level!

Large bowl
- 2 lbs. frozen hashbrowns, defrosted slightly
- 10.5 oz. can of cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz. sour cream
- ½ cup yellow onion or green onions, chopped
- 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup butter, melted
- salt & pepper to taste
- bacon pieces, optional
- cornflakes, optional
- 1 jalapeño, optional
Preheat oven to 350º
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and stir to combine.
Pour into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Optional: add crushed corn flakes to the top for an added crunch.
Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
